The panthers of Fairlorne once roamed free through the dense forests and open plains. During these ages, the wild was the true power of the realm. The strength that ran through the very heart of the land. None could oppose the rulers of the wild, the predators of the weak. The panthers.
Ever since the coming of the Fae and the Sprites to the realm from the east, the panther’s territories became increasingly scarce, as did their patience. With an arsenal of mithril arms, the intruders took what they wanted with unfathomable force. The panthers had never witnessed such a powerful and organized opponent.
The Fae and Sprites housed themselves within great stone walls; and built outposts, far out of reach of the panthers, in the canopies of the great wood.
Tensions rose fiercely and rapidly. A great war took place between the two factions - the wild fought with the strangers. The conflicts between the panthers and the settlers lasted for countless generations.
Thousands of lives were lost and hideous and foul acts were committed from both sides. A great victory took place when the king of the panthers was slain by the self-made leader of the Fae. So began the Age of the Fae. They enslaved the panthers to execute their darkest deeds and assist in the expansion of the Empire of Fairlorne.
Riding upon their tamed panthers, the scouts of the Forest Empire secure borders to prevent those intrusions on their extensive lands. Monstrous fangs and soaring arrows work in unity to slay their adversaries. The panther and the Fae are a fierce pair and a force to be reckoned with.
You look upon Faola, once commander of the Fae army, and Obsidian, her loyal companion. With his fangs, he rips apart those who oppose them. Her skill with the bow remains unchallenged across the Forest Empire.
After decades in service for the Empress, Faola lost her beliefs in the cause of the Fairlorne Empire over the years. The war was tiresome. She robbed the armory from the capital of Caerleon Citadel and fled, to join the wild.
Now, they are outcast, forced to fend for themselves. Commander Faola now goes by the title of Faola the Outlaw Ranger. She fights alongside Obsidian as a fugitive on a mission with a single purpose: to liberate those who live in the shadow of the Empire and defend the wild.Join Faola and Obsidian on their quest to prevent the oppression enforced by the evil Empress, Asariel. Choose your allies carefully, no one can be trusted in these treacherous lands.
